After giving 1400+ customers access to the Cisco DNA Center 1.3.3.0 FCS Release, we are happy to announce the General Availability of Cisco DNA Center 1.3.3.1 which continues to drive innovation across assurance, automation, security, and software-defined access. Enhancements include new device analytics, advanced wireless sensor capabilities, customizable health scores, StackWise Virtual (SVL) support along with strengthened security integrations and fabric enablement.

Samsung Client Device Analytics

Samsung mobile clients such as the Samsung Galaxy S10 can now send alerts and error codes to Cisco DNA Center for increased insights into the health and user experience of clients on your network.

Customizable Device Health Scores

Network administrators can now control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and their associated values are used to determine device health.

Wireless Sensor Enhancement

Wireless sensor tests are now easier to setup and scale across large-scale network environments with new location-based sensor heatmaps to quickly identify failed tests and potential network issues.

Allow Cisco DNA Center to cluster and monitor switches together virtually for increased availability, reliability, and performance.

Meraki Automation

Support wireless automation for Meraki platforms enabling consistent deployment workflows for both Cisco and Meraki devices.

Policy Extensions for SDA

Enable Policy Extended Nodes such as IE3400 and IE3400H to be able to classify and enforce group policies natively. This enables distributed enforcement of policy at the IoT Edge.

Authentication Enhancements

Option for Site specific authentication templates and authentication change optimizations.

StackWise Virtual Support

Support SVL for wired clients at Fabric Edge and at Fabric Border in SDA. Supported options include: Border with Co-located CP, Fabric-in-a-box (without eWLC), Fabric Edge. Note that wireless clients will be supported in a future release.

 
 
 
 
Security
 
Firewall Support

Provide automation capabilities for Cisco ASA firewall provisioning, inventory, topology, SWIM, and configuration templates. Remotely configure and provision Cisco firewalls running ASA software from within Cisco DNA Center.

Rogue Management:

Detect unauthorized access points plugged into local switches as well as access points with the same SSID that are not connected to customer’s wired network, providing increased security and control of wireless networks.
